IvyCrest Montessori´s after school programs provide an environment that is fun, safe, and enriching for children. We want to ensure that all children have access to quality activities during non-school hours that provide social and intellectual stimulation, as well as much needed supervision.
Children will take part in activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, organized games, and music. For those interested in enrolling their children in our School of the Arts, you may sign up for private or semi-private lessons in Visual Art, Flute, Guitar, Piano, Recorder, Voice, Ballet, Gymnastics, Martial Arts, and Creative Movement.
Children will be placed on a rotating cycle of general courses to ensure they experience all available programs offered through our School of the Arts. General courses include Intro to Art, Intro to Dance, Intro to Music, and Intro to Theatre. Students also have the opportunity to supplement their general courses with private or semi-private lessons in art, music or movement. Throughout the year, our children enrolled in our School of Arts programs will demonstrate their talents during our many performances.
Homework help is available, as well as private tutoring for all subjects. Rest assured, a nutritious snack will be available to children before activities commence, allowing their full attention to be placed on the activity at hand.
